It is the elegy of the longing of a lovely girl for her dead lover. There is a loneliness about this book which grips you, and as you quietly study the work you can feel the grief the girl is suffering. She lies on her bed, she walks the streets, she passes stark trees in the mist. Although deep down she knows her lover will never return she cannot accept it. He will come back, you see the conviction in her eyes, and so she goes on, half living, waiting, and drawing a sort of bitter happiness from the memories of the man whom she loves........
